ABOUT

Sean Tidd is a robotics engineer with a strong focus in software development. A recent graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, he is well versed in various coding languages such as C++, Java, and Python in addition to having worked with microcontrollers, SolidWorks, and various sensors and actuators.

Through his studies he has participated in student research projects, including providing aid in adding a shadow movement feature to the WARNER robot at WPI's Humanoid Robotics Lab. Additionally, he spent a substantial amount of time in Mandi, India to learn about engineering as is pertains to sustainability and client interaction.

As he continues to explore diverse elements of the engineering profession outside of school, Sean moves forward in pursing his goal to create robots that aid humanity. He actively pushes to work with a Search-and-Rescue swarm based robotic system.
