Volunteered at the Pine Street Inn to support the daily mission of providing hot meals and care to Boston's homeless community. Worked within a collaborative kitchen team to manage the final preparation, assembly, and direct hand-off of meals to shelter guests. Focused on bringing empathy, deep respect, and a positive presence to every interaction, ensuring community members were treated with dignity while giving back to the local neighborhood.
Updating Waste Management Along Hiking Trails in Mandi, India

Collaborated within a cross-cultural team of four WPI students and two Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi students to analyze sanitation improvements along high-altitude hiking trails in Himachal Pradesh. Partnered directly with Healing Himalayas—a regional NGO focused on conservation and environmental health—to study active waste-management efforts. Responsibilities included managing field recording equipment during community interviews, coordinating closely with IIT translation partners, and systematically documenting the types and volume of refuse along three major hiking routes. Concluded the project by delivering a comprehensive final presentation of data and recommendations to university and NGO leadership.
